Does SAP plan to leverage Advanced Data Store Object technology for CPM (Commercial Project Management) in a future release? Can a customer already do this on their own, shift the CPM cube and content to the advanced data store technology? Currently the CPM cube /CPD/PFP_R01 is a classic cube. SAP via note 2770658, has added audit capability with 1909 which adds an additional dimension and Infoobjects. If ADSO is used, the audit trail would be a built in capability, perhaps with better overall performance. The ADSO technology would also open up the SAP DW data. Perhaps there is a larger topic regarding CPM financial planning, shifting it altogether to a native S/4 HANA application away from BW-IP. In summary is there a plan to update the CPM financial planning architecture?
