Import Currency Conversion Table from S/4 into SAP Analytics Cloud

Hi,

SAP business content loads all master data from S/4. In case I want to import Currency Conversion rates only File, Google Drive, BPC and BW are available as source system.

Since conversion rates are maintained in S/4 I´m wonding why there is no option to directly load rates from S/4. It seems scheduled file export and file import via Cloud Connector is the only possible solution.

Any other ideas?

True, this still seems to be missing functionality. (Only BPC, BW, Google Drive, File Options)

Meanwhile, I was wondering if the below option can be a work around. I have not tried it personally, so unable to guarantee a result.

a) Create a new currency conversion table in SAC

b) Create a import connection from S/4 to SAC

c) Create a CDS view of type CUBE, on top of TCURR table

d) Try to load the CDS (using BW import option) into the above created currency table.

thanks for your answer. If I want to use the BW import option I also have to set up a BW connection. I expect the S/4 connection is not visible when trying to load currency conversion rates from BW.

Therefore I think the only option would be to activate Embedded BW on the S4 system to load rates via the embedded BW.

Activating Embedded BW would be too much in my case.

As long as there is not direct load from S/4 I´ll go for export/import of a file via Cloud Connector.
