User status to be assigned at plant level

We have a requirement from business that Status Profile QM_L_001 (Inspection Lot Profile 1) be customized differently for different inspection types.

This can be done by assigning the new status profile to the inspection type.

But they also want this to be implemented to only one plant.

Is this possible?

I believe I will have to create customized inspection types too. But this seems to be a tedious process as the new inspection type will have to be assigned to all the materials of the plant.

Hello,

For this you have to create new inspection type by coping the existing one and then assign the status profile to it and use it for the particular plant and material combination.

Mass inspection type assignment (activation/deactivation) can be done through QA08 Collective Processing of Insp. Setup.
