Batch derivation at configurable material from RM material.

Dear Team,

Need you suggestion on the below requirement.

I made a configurable material with class 300, While creating sales order we have entered the cindiguration of material. Now when I am creating production order, I want batch characterstics to get copy from RM material to FG. Here the class assigned to RM material is 023, so whenever I am generating batch derivation , the charactertsics are not geeting copied only FG sales order characterstics is coming in FG batch.

How it can be achived, I want FG sales order characterstics as well as RM charactersitcs to get copy in my FG production batch.

The batch derivation is working in my case when I am carrying the batch characteristics from RM to RM material whose batch class is 023.

But when I am doing the batch derivation from SFG to FG. That is my SFG is having class 023, and my FG material is configurable material which is having class both 023 and 300. So when I am doing confirmation of FG, all the characteristics are getting a copy of sales order, but none of the characteristics get copied from SFG to FG.
