post installation configuration of solman 3.2

Hi All,

I recently installed the solman 3.2, everything went on well and also I could generate the key for the ecc 5.0 using SMSY.

Now I want to configure the soln manager to connect to the ECC system and to the Netweaver server. I went thru the config guide, master guide and I cudnt find any material on tht.

An suggestions or material on the configuration will be awarded.

First read the attached document against each node of the spro then execute the actions. Transaction smsy is used to connect sap systems. Select "other object" from menu, select radio button system, and press button create at bottom, when you create system go back to smsy main screen and select your system, there you have to give the installation number as well as message server (hostname) of the sap system, it will automatically detect.

One thing more, while working you may find some BC set for issue tracking and change request management missing. You can search sapnotes with keyword "BC set issue track"

and "BC set change request management". You will find the notes at top list. BC sets are attached in these sapnotes and procedure is also mentioned. check your version and download and upload it in solution manager

Go through spro (IMG in solution manager). It contains each and every step for solution manager configuration. but go in sequence. it also tell you what to do for satellite systems mean your sap systems.
