SAP Analysis for Office - SAPGetData formula - how to use the YTD for CALMONTH?

Dear All,
I wanted to ask, if there is anyone who has been working with Analysis for Office and its SAPGetData possibilities in terms of using this for YTD or Y-to-Go calculations?

As far as I know, there is no possibility to use multiple values for a dimension member (master data) definition, e.g.
SAPGetData("DS_1","ABC","Date=201901,201902,201903")

We are using this for a connection to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), where we retrieve the data and create some reports.

Any advice or help is highly appreciated!

Hi Vaclav ,

I think it is intended behavior ,getdata method works only with a combination which returns single cell value as we are not specifying any aggregate methods .

we may need to perform all aggregations/logic in the backend .In case you are using BW ,refer.

As you are consuming this in SAC , SAC has built in Time calculation functions which gives you YTD/ till date results ,please refer here
