Workflow WS21500001 completed without manager approval

Hello,

We are making absence notifications from transaction PTARQ -> Test application (report RPTARQUIATEST) for absences with authorization of Manager (feature WEBMO & view V_T554S_WEB) and workflow model WS21500001 - PT_TIMREQWDA - General Workflow for Documents WD ABAP
The request is generated, the workflow is generated but it is authorized directly, leaving the status of the workitem as COMPLETED without being authorized by any manager.
I can not find what may be causing the workflow to be completely processed.
Have you found something similar?

Hi Josep,

I do not have this workflow implemented in my systems, but as near as I can tell, your workflow is not going to the dialog task (node 38) for actual approval. It may be meeting the conditions for 'Approval not required' as defined in node 150.

Check the conditions for node 150 and ensure that the document does indeed need approval. You want to see the WF go to node 38 for dialog approval by &Agent_0001.Agents& rule.

Manager is standard determination by organizational structure.

Hi,

I would first check the rule group configuration and then the associated process.

Please check the below screen shots and make sure you have enabled the workflow process and make sure that you have enabled "Requests have to be approved".

In the rule group setting, based on your requriement you need to choose the appropriate next agent option.

Can you please show us a screen shot of the technical workflow log? How to you define who the manager is? Have you completed the traditional workflow customizing in SWU3?
