Effects in inventory upon equipment dismatling..

Can any one tell me the what will be the effects in inventory upon equipment dismantling...

Hi Praveen,

If you have serialized Equipment and Doing dismantle through IE4N then one quantity will be increased by one in Stock. if material has valuation category then respective Valuation Type stock will increase.

Suppose Material is assigned Valuation category M with Valuation Type

1-Procured

2-Repair

3-Faulty

While Installation Through IE4N Serialized Equipment is Valuation type- Procured, There will deduction of one quantity from stock with respective valuation type-Procured.

Suppose Serialized Equipment is got faulty and we are doing to dismantle through IE4N, then while dismantle we change valuation type Procured to Faulty under SerData Tab>> Stock Information of Equipment through T code IE02.

After Successful dismantle Faulty Valuation Type Stock will be increased.

If you are not using serial numbers, then installing/dismantling equipment will have no effect on inventory.
