Disable Automatic Refresh of Prompt LOV in Webi Query Filter Screen

Hi All,

I am using BOBJ BI – BOBI 4.1 SPS 06 Patch 2 and my reports are based on HANA.

My concern is whenever i create any prompts at Webi level, once prompts are ready and when I run the report, when I click on any prompt its LOV starts refreshing automatically before clicking on refresh button of prompt.

I want to disable it, as my prompts are optional and if by mistakenly any user clicked on any prompt, then they have to wait till all the LOV's of that clicked prompt are refreshed.

Can any one help me on this??

Hi Everyone,

One of my colleague suggested me this solution and it worked well.

We need to change preference setting in bi Launch pad .

Webi-->View and in View from HTML to Applet.

Are you using Designer or IDT?

I am using IDT, but prompts are directly made in WEBI report only.

Thanks for your reply, but if I unchecked prompt with list of values then LOV's will disappear.

I want LOV's, I just don't want to refresh it automatically.

For Example: When i click on material my LOV's starts refreshing automatically.

I want that whenever i click on button refresh values, then only it should start refreshing.

in that case uncheck the option select from the list and try.

No dear,its not working.

Its just removing above cell of type a value.

Values are still getting refreshed automatically.
