Selection is locked by user XXX (Mesage /SAPAPO/SDP 221)

Hi,

We are currently experiencing an error while loading data in planning selection is locked by user XXX ( Message / SAPAPO/SDP221). We have referred to note 1988958 and with help of that able to load the lock entries data.

I need your help in releasing the lock from these entries as we are not able to do any further work in planning book.

Attached is the screen shot of locking mechanism used.

We have also found two other notes (1448436 & 1738663) but i am not sure whether they are of any help to us or not.

Hi Kartik,

if selection is locked in planning book - you can ask the concerned user to exit from planning book if concurrent changes need to be made.

I am not sure if there is any other restriction - Please suggest.

Hi Alok,

User has completely signed out from system still the selection is locked and being displayed in report /SAPAPO/TS_LC_DISPLAY_LOCKS.

What i want is to clear the lock entries log basically.

Hi Kartik,

Maybe you can try deleting the locks manually from SM12 - Ideally when the user is no longer there in planning book then selection will also not be locked anymore.

Hi Alok,

I am not able to see any lock entries in SM12, as stated above the lock entries are displayed only via /SAPAPO/TS_LC_DISPLAY_LOCKS report.

Can you please tell me how can we delete the lock entries from the /SAPAPO/TS_LC_DISPLAY_LOCKS report.
