Subcontracting problem with different Valuation Type recursive serial number

Hi,

i have problem. I have material with "Valution type"

1. I use MB11 - m.t. 541 - serial number "1" - Valuation Type PREN (broken)

2. I have Subcontracting with recursive serial number (subcontracting type = Refurbishment with Unchanged Material Number)

Valuation Type/batch - POREN (repaired) in Subcontracting

Valuation Type/batch - PREN (broken) in components in Subcontracting

3. I Use MIGO - m.t. 101/541

• m.t. 101 serial number "1" and Valuation Type POREN (repaired)
• m.t. 543 serial number "1" and Valuation Type PREN (broken)

4. Error message IO231 - Stock data of serial number 1 not suitable for movement

Analysis m.t. 101:

When I use the other material without Valution type, so everything is OK.

I would suggest you search for OSS notes, there are so many that we can't really make a suggestion as we do not know your release and how how up to date your system is maintained with OSS notes

I found seveal with the search term: subcontracting io231

but also many with: subcontracting valuation type

and again with: subcontracting valuation type serial
