Asset Intracompany transfer

Hello,

In the legacy Asset transfer, I am looking for help on below scenario.

Issue is

We have created legacy asset with take over values. Unfortunately that asset class has wrong account determination.

Now we have corrected account determination. Later tried to transfer the values from wrong asset to another new asset using ABUMN.

Here system not transferring the Take over values to new asset.

Could you please let me know is there any other approach to transfer the asset completely with Take over values.

BR

Anu

Hi Anu,

If it is a legacy asset, then you can post manual JV by ABF1 at FI level. The entry will be:

Correct asset GL a/c Dr

Wrong asset GL a/c Cr

At the posting initially enter posting key 40/50 after select asset recon.accounts then change the posting key as 70/75.

Hello Mukthar,

I can able to post the entries by using ABUMN. But the values entered in Take Over values section are not transferring to the new asset.

Expectation will be when we do the transfer using ABUMN system suppose to transfer all the values including Take Over values to the new asset. Unfortunately it was not happening.

Hi Anu,

On which date you are transferring the asset? And also select the correct indicator for prior-year acquis. or from curr.yr acquis. However, instead of transfer, you can upload the balance for the asset in AS91 and change the take over amount for the wrong asset as 0 in AS92. After that do transfer posting in OASV.

Hi,

According to me correct option would be to create a new asset class wit hcorrect account determination and then transfer the values from old asset in which wrong account determination is there to new asset wherein correct account determination is maintained. By this the issue should be resolved i suppose.

Malhar.
