Tax Code Maintainance in 2 languages

Hi Experts,

I need to configure a Plant Abroad Tax Code and the description of the same needs to be in 2 different languages. Is this possible? If yes, how can that be done?

Hello Sameer,

the description of the tax codes is stored in database table T007S. It also contains a language key, so it is possible to maintain in multiple languages. Unfortunately, there is no maintenance view available which allows for the selection of the language key, but you can log on in that language and maintain via FTXP then.

Hello Christoph,

there no custom maintenance view to configure the translation of tax codes. If you need to do it, just login under another language - the fields with the translation would be available for maintenance. We usually use LSMW project for the purposes of uploading translations. It's easy to configure and the file with data will contain just three columns - e.g. LAND1, MWSKZ + TEXT1 - where the LAND1 stands for country, MWSKZ - for tax code and TEXT1 for description in local language.
