Hi Ramy,

You need JCo destinations only for Webdynpro Java components.

For Webdynpro ABAP components, you don't require JCo destinations.

As I've mentioned above, you can follow the above specified steps and create the required destinations.

Please let me know should you need any additional information on this subject.

Anurag

Hi Ramy,

Do you have different usernames in the back end clients.

It is clearly mentioned in the document that you've followed that the usernames in back end clients and portal should be the same. In this scenario, the users logged in to portal are able to access the back end clients using SSO logon tickets.

Hence, you'll not require any user mapping for the systems.

Hi Ramy,

First make sure that you do have the Portal Content Admin role to access the NWA and then follow the below link to create JCo Destination.

Hi Ramy,

Please follow the below steps to configure the JCo destinations:

1. Access the start page of your Portal by accessing the following URL:

     http://<host>:<port>/startPage

2. Click on Web Dynpro icon.

3. Click on Content Administrator

4. Web Dynpro Content Administrator page will appear.

5. Click on Manage JCo Destinations.

6. You'll find the desired JCo destinations. Click on Create and enter the required data and test the destination.

Let me know in case of any issues.
