Fiori Apps for HCM: Organisational Prerequests (Masterdata, workflow,..)

Hello,

we plan to implement Fiori Apps for HCM ; Create / Approce Leave Request. Since we dont have the technical prerequests for this, we have to wait for a netweaver update with the technical installation (UI components, etc.).

Meanwhile we would could check and configure the masterdata, workflow etc. for this app in the Backend.
Are there any "organisational" prerequests lists? or a Guideline?
Do we have to setup any workflow in the Backend or is there a default workflow created ?

Another question to ESS/MSS: Is COnfiguration of ESS/MSS required if i want only use the Fiori Application ? I'm asking cause i read that additional ESS/MSS Licenses are required...

Hi,

You have to set up workflow customizing in every client that you're going to use workflow.

I think there exists some blogs or sap help on this subject, just search for SWU3 workflow customizing.

Just make sure you can get a (temporary) user with SAP_ALL, SAP_NEW and belonging to user group SUPER when carrying out activities.
