MI2.5SP13 - problems deploying patch 7

Hi,

We have just configured the MI2.5 on the server and installed the MI client (SP13) on a laptop. The MI client needs to be patched with the latest add on (MI25SP13P_7-10002889.zip). This has been done successfully using the Web Console, but when displaying info in the MI client, the patch level is stil 00. Does any one know if this is updated when patched?

Nb. On the info screen i can see that the patch is uploaded, but I not sure that it actually has been installed!

Hi Jacob,

you must not use the MI25SP13P_7-10002889.zip-file, but unzip it and upload the MI25SP13_JSP.zip or MI25SP13_AWT.zip via the WebConsole and then assign it to your deviceid/user. After synchronization the installation of the patch is done via the ClientInstaller-mechanism, and afterwards you should see the new patch level 07.

Hey Jacob,

I recommend you install the sp14 patch. It doesnt matter if you have an sp13 MI server your client can still be higher. The reason im recommending it is because you can remove the login screen. I find it much easier when i dont have to log in all the time when i restart my client.

As suggsted by Wael, install SP14 on your client.
