How to install LO

HI All,

Currently we are in BO 4.0 SP2. Unfortunate, i am unable to find the Live-office tab in Xcelsius spread sheet. Please let me know how to get back Live-Office tab in spread sheet and also possible reasons for this.

Hi Praveen,

Go to C:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\Live Office 12.0

Open and check the option available to enable the Live office in Excel, PPT & etc.,

if Not Log on to Administrator, Check whether it is Opened in Administrator Log on.

then Enable all Items

Go to Excel File --> Menu --> Excel Option --> Add InsManage --> Disable Items --> Enable.

Please revert for any clarifications.

Thanks for quick reply.  I have enabled LO connection with the help of your post.

I am new to BOE. Please guide me on this issue.  Is this very common Issue?

Because we are facing this issue in Production very regularly. Is there any effect to my dashboards with this issue.

Hi,

Obviously if your Live Office is going to crash in excel, then definitely it will hamper your dashboard which is based on LO. What is your MS-Office version.
