Hi,
Is it possible to configure Cloud Transport Management in one subaccount and connected between different spaces created in CF?
Thanks and Regards,
Mar.
Hi Mar,
Concerning where to run SAP Cloud Transport Management: the service can act as central service, where you subscribe to it from one subaccount and handle then the delivery from and to spaces in potentially different subaccounts (that could optionally also run in a different global account, as long as you can configure corresponding destinations to source and target).
If you want to transport between spaces within the same subaccount (no matter if SAP Cloud Transport Management service is running on the same subaccount or not), this depends on the actual content type based on my experience. While it should work for most use cases, I recommend that you check your interdependencies inside the to-be-transported content. To give you an example: If I remember right, there have been issues with XSUAA service, as XSUAA could by default only handle binding to one app with the same name in a subaccount (at least, as far as I remember it - not sure, if this would still apply today). Therefore, I would recommend to try it out first.
Hope this helps nevertheless,
Boris
