Old Absence Leave Quota Issue

Dear Experts,

Need your help for my below query.

My client used to have absence quota (Sick leave New Joinee ) for newly joined employees.

From 2013 Onwards they have changed the schema and absences.After configuing the new Quotas they don't want to give Sick Leave New Joinee quota.But when they are running the Time evaluation the old Sick Leave (Sick leave new Joinee) is generating.How to restict or delete or deactivate the old quota ?

And in the Employee ESS also the old Quota is displaying.How to delete in Portal ?

Hi Remy,

I missed to check basic configuration ,i have checked the config.In the V_556A_B table.it is maintained as no generation.

Means it is generating through standard program, same i have communicated to the user.

If i want to remove the entire absence (Not to generate ) which config node i need to delimit or delete?

please suggest.

We are using new schema from 2013 year onwards and in the New schema there are two PCR's written one is for CL leave and One is for SL (Sick leave New)

I have checked in the log there is no other PCR's are generating these Old Sick Leave quota (i.e Sick leave new Joinee)

I have checked in in the log P2012 function in the output table i am seeying absence quota type (08- Sick leave new Joinee)

is 2012 is generating the Quotas?

These 2 queries should have been on 2 different discussion threads since one relates to Quota configuration and the other one to ESS configuration.

To answer the first one, I would ask you to please consult the documentation on the creation of Quotas (either on help.sap.com or on the Time Management Wiki page of this site https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/ERPHCM/HCM+Time+Management), and then try to identify how the Allowances are generated for these Quotas (through the tables or through pcr).

To answer the second one, if an employee had the "Sick leave New Joinee" Quota before and no longer has it, does it still show on ESS? For a new employee, if the "Sick leave New Joinee" Quota is deleted manually through pa30, does it still show up on ESS?
