Web application BEx query Personalizing Variables error ABEND BRAIN (670)

Hi,

I am getting the following error  when I try to personalize a variable in an BEx web application.

com.sap.ip.bi.base.application.exceptions.AbortMessageRuntimeException: Termination message sent

ABEND BRAIN (670): An error occurred when getting data from the processor.

The BEx query itself runs without errors. The above mentioned error appears only when we are trying to personalize a variable.

We are running on 7.01 SP09.

Does anyone know how to solve this?

Hi,

Problem solved.

SPRO --> SAP Customizing Implementation Guide --> Business Warehouse -->Settings for Reporting and Analysis --> General Settings for Reporting and Analysis -->Activate Personalization in BEx .

Don't forget to first open the system (scc4).
