automate the asset creation (as01) process

Hi Experts,

I am new end user for SAP. i want to automate the asset creation (as01) process. i have the data in Excel want to upload.

Please advice how can i use SAP interactive excel to do this.

Hi,

Manually also you can do but it takes time.

In AS01 transaction code you can specify the number of similar assets and create all assets.

We had a similar requirement from our clients in the past. For this there is no standard SAP tcode. You may need to create Z Program / lsmw to upload Mass Asset Masters using Excel

Adding to Sowmya's point, please inform to your SAP team to create a LSMW or BDC logic for mass creation of asset master in SAP.
