Maintenance order - IW31

Hi Gurus

We would like to make functional location and equipment mandatory for maintenance order (IW31) based on order type

eg. PM01 - Functional Location Mandatory

      PM02 - Equipment Mandatory

     PM03 - Bothe Functional Location and Equipment Mand

I want only to do customizing and not by means of user exits or function is it possible.

Hello

Please go in OIAN Transaction and then select Option "Influencing"  Then Double Click on "Order Type".

Pass the Order Type PM01 in "content" Field Hit enter Button then make filed selection as Mandatory for Functional Location,

Repeat the same process for Other Order Type Too for making PM02 - Equipment Mandatory and      PM03 - Both Functional Location and Equipment Mand

Hi Vidhyadharan,

Go to Spro---PM---Maintenance and Service Orders--Define field selection for order head...click on it.

Then click of Influnecing----In this screen click on Order Type----In content enter the Order Type PM01 and make functional location as Required.

Do the same for the remaining order types also.
