Counter based PM Plan should not triggered Order if Equipment is not running

Dear friends,

We have counter based Maintenance Plans active in the system and working OK.

We have one concern.

We have completed one job on 01.01.2013. PM Plan is set with the counter and target to trigger the Order after 2000 hours.

Now machine is stop and stand by.

Means NO Counter Reading.

But due to condition in the PM Plan scheduling parameter of 12 MON and annual estimate, system triggeres the Order on the nex schedule

date every 3 month ( 200 hours )

We try to enter the same reading, but system is not allowing to enter the same reading.

Same reading means ZERO difference.

We want that even if counter reading is not enter, Equipment is stand by, System should not triggere Order as per the

annual estimate schedule date during the back ground run of transaction IP30

If we enter a difference of 0.1 our regularly every week OR month, it will not reach 2000 hours in 3 month.

will this entry stops triggering Order against schedule dates ?

Hope our requirement is clear.

Regards,

Jayant Joshi

System should allow you to enter Zero difference or Same reading for the counter.

Please provide the error message with screen of error as well as the entry screen.

Dear friend

Sorry, yes it is allowing to enter. actually, when we enter, it gives RED highlighted therefore we understand that it is not allowing then we try to enter again, it works.

Please tell me, if we did like this, background job of IP30 will not trigger any Order against schedule date with ref to annual estimate ?

Yes, once you enter the measurement reading, system will check the measurement document reading only. As measurement reading won't get changed, IP30 will not schedule any PM order.
