AUC settlement - System error: Master area for proof of origin not found

I have created a Capital Project and am having issues when settling cost to create the AUC.  The error I receive is below. Can anyone please assist me?

System error: Master area for proof of origin not found

Message no. AW 666

Please help me resolve this issue. Thanks!

Hi Gareth,

Check T code OAOA account determination and check in T code AO90 whether depreciation area and GL accounts are assigned for that account determination.

Hi,

could it be that you possibly have no depreciation area 01 in the AuC.

In such a case when there is no depreciation area 01 present in AUC, it is NOT possible to post from an internal order to an asset under construction.

If you do not want values in depreciation area 01, you can customize a capitalization key in the AuC. Please refer to the documentation on this functionality.   

You should check if depreciation area 01 is activated. If not, activate it and it should allow settlemen.
