Extractor framework not running

Dear Experts,

I have issue in solman 7.1 SP8,where I am not getting email alert for system configuration and system exception .I am getting alerts only for system performance.

Initial, basic , managed system and technical monitoring configuration has completed successfully.

I can see that extractor framework in not running on managed system and for solution manager there is no update from 09-07-2013

Solman :

Managed system : No last status or last update status data

EFWK_RESSOURCE_MANAGER is not scheduled / running even after successful re-execution of below steps.

1. I have reexecuted extractor setup from managed system configuration
2. Also rerun the Setup Extractor Framework,BASIC DCP configuration  from BASIC Configuration
3. Removed the managed system from technical monitoring and reconfigured it.

but this also did not helped.

Any idea how to solve this and get email alert for all system configuration and system exception ?

Hi  Abhijeet,

Apply the latest version of SP08 master note  in teh solman system.

check the diagnostic prereq - 1483508 - Solution Manager 7.1: Root Cause Analysis pre-requisites

Hi,

Managed system has maintained with correct product as diagnostic relevant.

I have applied latest version of SP08 master note and checked the note 1483508 , but did not helped.

For Solman system and managed system configuration and exception status is grey

i followed the SAP note 1819848-All metrics are grey in Techincal Monitoring but no luck

any idea on this ?

Hi Karthik,

As mentioned in the link i have done BI content activation and extractor configuration again.

When i tried to execute the extractor again i got below message

Extractor ADD_CCDB_ABAP_EXTRACTOR: Worklist item can not be scheduled

Extractor ADD_CCDB_ABAP_EXTRACTOR_CLT: Worklist item can not be scheduled

Extractor E2E_CCDB_ABAP_EXTRACTOR: Worklist item can not be scheduled

Extractor E2E_CCDB_ABAP_EXTRACTOR_CLT: Worklist item can not be scheduled

Extractor E2E_CCDB_ABAP_EXTRACTOR_LOC: Worklist item can not be scheduled

Extractor E2E_CCDB_OS_EXTRACTOR: Worklist item can not be scheduled

there are many warning message with content out of date

also i found one more error where it says User not authorized to run RSUSR003.

Hi Abhijeet,

Try to give required role to the user and run the extractor or will give the sap_all role temporary and run the extractor.so check and confirm the issue with user authorization or not. for role assignment plz check the solman security guide.

Hi Abhijeet

For solman , kinldy click on the Database analysis extractor and provide us the error details for extractor failure .

For managed system , kinldy verify whether you have maintained correct products as diagnostics relavent .And rerun the extractor step.

If issue persists again , kindly increase the resourse cap of the managed system .
