How does it work Stringent FIFO strategy with the SLED indicator active in OMM8?

Hi Experts,

I am looking for a stock removal strategy that allows my client to pick quants across all the wm based on the SLED that is set in the batches....Up to now he is using Stringent FIFO but as you will know this strategy take into account the GR date and not the SLED.....and on the other hand if I set strategy H (SLED) in each storage type, then I will have to be able to make the serch across all the wm as he requires and I would asume that is not posible to be done  except for Stringent FIFO. so I wonder If I just active the SLED indicator in t-code OMM8 could it Works, but It is not clear for me which is the functionality of this config....Just to remember you that we need the SLED date that appear in the batches not other date....

Wht do you think?  Pls Advice

If the check for the shelf life expiration date is active in your warehouse, the system will search for the oldest quant using the shelf life expiration date, not the goods receipt date for those materials which have the shelf life expiration date set.

To activate SLED for your warehouse, use OMKW to:-

1) Activate SLED on your warehouse number

2) Assign H to relevant storage types
