Use Table instead of Free standing cells... relative positioning does not work well with blank cells as it is not considered as block.

Hi Mahi,

Try to use the vertical table by removing/hiding header, add two rows below and size the height of each cell matching to currency, product and Industry cells on main block and overlay this on the main block to show the amount values in it, this offers you similar formatting capability as your other block and would be consistent as the other block with your formatting, you can avoid such issues when exporting to Excel.

Hi Mahi,

Why not try calculating Amount Total at each level as within the Amount column itself instead of going for overlaying blank cells or another piece of block. and  merge the header for each section up to product column. This way formatting in excel would not be an issue at all.

Thanks

Hi Mahi,

As far as i know, It should work. try using calculation context and Nofilter function to calculate section level totals within block headers. I have used below to come up with Year total within the block header. You can try to derive your totals in below lines using calculation context, I think you can avoid formatting issues from Excel side.

=NoFilter(Sum([Quantity]) ForAll([Quarter]))

Thanks
