I think you can bury this topic. It seems that SAP doesn’t have anymore the intention to support the developers in this way.
There only focus lies on the cloud solutions. Everything On-Premise or local is dead.

From my experience it is necessary to have a VM solution, which can emulate a x86 architecture. For instance the UTM virtual solution.But what I also experienced is, that this is not the most performant thing. Maybe others have better suggestions.
