Table DDNTF is not active in the dictionary error during DMO

Hi Everyone,

We are planning a migration to Hana DB with the nZDM method and trying to identify uptime processing tables.

When we added the DDNTF/T tables to the list, we faced the error says they are not active on DD.

As I understood from KBAs, these tables have been inactive since the Unicode Conversion.

Has anyone faced that issue?

Cagri

Did you check the SAP notes about DDNTF?

Sorry, I didn't see that you have read the KBA/SAP notes already. DDNTF is not part of the ABAP Dictionary, it's a table in the database only. After the Unicode conversion, it should be still active.

Hello,

just checkout

932779 - Unicode cnversion - analysis of nametab problems

1.3 How can I look into the nametabs ?

====================================

DDNTT / DDNTF tables

The tables DDNTT/F exist on database level only. They are not defined in the SAP dictionary. Contents can be displayed with the function module 'DD_SHOW_NAMETAB'. Use the "Status" parameter to look in the active (Status = A) or inactive (Status = I) nametabs.

DDNTF is not in DDIC , just on DB level.

thumbsup appreciated

Hi,

We just delete the table entry from uptime table list. It's going well know.

Thank you for support.

Hi Sandra,

I read SAPNote 932779 but it's mostly about the Unicode Conversion procedure.
