Hello there,
I am running an automation with Power Automate Desktop that automates the user interactions in sap gui (SAP GUI for windows 760 final release patch level 7).
After ~90 minutes running the automation the SAP GUI screen "freeze" and the automation can't do anything...it's really annoying.
I am using SAP Signature Theme.
Anyone is familiar with this? any suggestion? thanks!
Are you using SAP GUI Scripting-commands for your automation-task?
We get a similar behaviour, completely independent of the SAP GUI version. This happens under 7.60, 7.70 and 8.00. Mostly after a longer runtime, but also after just a few records.

The reason seems to be that a command is sent via GUI scripting, whereupon a popup window should open. However, SAP does not send this window. As a result, the corresponding command is regarded by SAP as not-yet-processed and the subsequent scripting command can then not be processed.
Can you find out where your script gets stuck and whether this also happens with you in connection with a pop-up window?
