Hello Experts,
1. Can we export the daily delta datasets to the Non-SAP application or file server in a flat file (CSV or XLS format) via SFTP connection directly from the datasphere view or local table?
2. Can we generate a filename based on timestamp (yyyymmdd_hhmmss)?
Currently, this is possible with BW. We have a process chain where process steps are created with the ABAP program and its variants to generate and transfer the data from a particular DSO to the CFTP server.
Below is the BW process chain screenshot which showcases the file generation and transfer steps (It is using ABAP code with a variant where the variant contains the DSO names and the loading date based on which the delta dataset is created).
Is this possible with SAP Datasphere?
Thanks!

Hello @Mandar_Damle,
I'm not aware of any simple way to achieve this.
Maybe in future if replication flows' target supports SFTP as target, could be a way.
This was already requested in Datasphere's Influence channel, see FTP/SFTP as Replication Target.
Feel free to upvote/track it there.

Hi Mandar,
Generic SFTP connections in SAP Datasphere is used as source only. There is no target usage with any flows unfortunately.
One thing could be thought if you deal with files that you can export data with replication flows from Datasphere to storage connections like Google BigQuery Connections, Microsoft Azure Data Lake Store Gen2 Connections, Amazon Simple Storage Service Connections.
