The system cannot be reached the logon data could not be used. Adding Tenant Database in HANA

Hi,

i'm currently trying to add new System with User "DEVUSER" in HANA Studio Eclipse Plugin which runs on a tenant Database, but if i try to login the application will always give me the same error:

"The system cannot be reached the logon data could not be used"

My Input for adding the System is:

Host Name: 172.22.107.198 (Server IP in ifconfig)

Instance Number: 90.

Database Option: Multiple Containers -> Tenant Database (NAME: HDB)

Username: DEVUSER (I already tried to change my password)

The strange thing is, that on the Database Explorer, the new System DEVUSER is already connected.

One more thing to know is, that im currently running my HANA Express Server on a Linux PC, while my HANA Studio runs on a seperate Windows PC.

In most of the cases, below oversights can lead to such errors.

1. Not entering the SQL Post in the Hostname field along with the hostname

2. Entering the SID of HANA system instead of SID of the SAP system in the Tenant Database field
