For SAP Data Archiving, if I want to implement SAP ILM with SAP IQ, do I still need Archive Server?

Hi Gurus,

In what scenarios I will need to have 3rd Party Archive Servers like OpenText, PBS, SNP Outboard etc.? I understand if I want to implement SAP Data Archiving (ADK based) and Retention Management using SAP ILM with SAP IQ, I don't need any of the above-mentioned Archive Server? Is the understanding correct?

Yes, no additional 3rd Party Solution is needed when you are implementing ILM with SAP IQ.
