Subcontracting requirements in MRP area

Hi Gurus,

My client has enabled the subcontracting MRP area in their system now. And due to the special procurement type '30' has maintained in the subcontracting MRP area for a material, the PR is directly proposed under the subcontracting MRP area. However, the material is actually having multiple sources of supply, but the proposed PR is always selected the same supplier only. 

What is the suggestion if I may ask to allow MRP propose the PR according to the quota arrangement in this case?

I have attached my MRP area settings and my visible MD04. In my MD04 screen, you may find that my PO is placed under the subcontracting MRP area, which is what my client one, but the selected supplier is ignoring the quota arrangement.

Any suggestion is highly appreciated.

Hi, Thank you for your reply. I have went through the note 2551191, now that I understand it is standard behavior that quota is not consider under subcontracting MRP area. In that case, what could be the suggested solution if quota arrangement should not be ignore?
