SAP PS Budget for Revenue and budget availability control for revenue .

Normally we use PS for capex budget monitoring and control. Please guide me if we can use it for revenue monitoring

1.At wbs level, We will assign the budget and same wbs will be used in sales order for actual revenue. Budget control should happen for revenue account as well.

Eg. Suppose i have assigned budget for 1000 USD against WBS and now,system should not allow to book sales invoice more than 1000. Similarly I can do transfer the remaining budget between WBS to WBS.

Standard report should get updated same like S_ALR_87013558. Report should say Budget,Actual revenue, remaining budget. Only remaining budget should be transferred.

There is no such standard functionality available.

Current design related to availability control is for only cost and not with respect to revenue.

If you are looking for billing based on actual expenditure taking revenue into consideration, please check for Bill of service (BOS) process in SD / Billing component.

Why invoice amount should not exceed budgeted amount?

Thanks for your reply.

Its client requirement. They publish articles as per the prepaid scenarios. If budget is not available then system should stop it.
