I have uploaded these percentages through a flat file, I have launched the standard task 2141, and, once executed, it is giving me these percentages, which don't quite add up, what is the reason for this?
In the percentage loading file, company 1053 has a percentage on itself, 1053, as you can see in the first screen shoot, which is called Treasury stock (Treasury stock is the number of shares that a company owns of itself). This percentage is 2%.
This specific case causes some doubts when running the calculations in task 2141, all of them related to the same company, directly and undirectly.
The first one is about the direct share of 1053. The percentage of 1045 on 1053 is 67%, and of 1053 on itself is 2%, so adding both percentages gives a direct percentage of 69%, and I think it should be 67%.
The second one is that, in turn, 1053 has a percentage on 1130, which is 77%. When the system calculates the indirect percentage, group share %, it comes out as 52.64285714, and, by calculating 0.67 x 0.77, the result is 0.52.
If the system incorporates treasury stock, it should behave like this. If so, how should it be calculated and interpreted?
