How to transfer one Equipment from one company code A to another company code B?

Is it possible to transfer one Equipment from one company code A to another company code B, and keep the original equipment No?

Vincent,

Yes its possible. Dismantle the equipment from its current FLoc, change the relevant equipment data e.g. maintenance plant and planning plant, then install in the new FLoc.
