I am posting revenue on a PA segment as primary account assignment and additionally to a statistical internal order as secondary account assignment. I would like now to derive the IO automatically from a (user defined) characteristic of the COPA segment. I don't find a way to perform this as:
- OKB9 does not allow to select the account assignment from a specific PA characteristic
- OKC9 (CO substitution) allows the substitution of the internal order field but has no access to the PA segment information stored on the same line item
- KEDR (COPA derivation) is aware of the internal order as an input characteristic but does not allow to update the internal order to avoid breaking consistency between the CO coding block and the PA segment
I am sure there must be a way to achieve this because I "only" try to derive a CO account assignment from another one (changing the coding block content based on the COPA segment info) but I couldn't find any viable option so far...
