Overview of Webinar Series
In this webinar we have Ulrike Raidl, kicking off the multi-day webinar series. In it, we discuss an array of updates for the 2023 release of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition (FPS0). We delve into the SAP product strategy, the delivery models for Cloud ERP, RISE packaging, the evolution of SAP S/4HANA alongside highlighting significant changes in various lines of business like procurement, asset management and finance. Additionally, new features are coming our way such as integration with Microsoft Teams, an inbuilt collaboration tool, and strategies for enhanced sustainability.
We also have a glimpse into the future of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition. Developments to look forward to includes smarter methods for goods receipt, inventive work orders, enhancements in shipping and receiving, along with tools to monitor our carbon footprint. In broader terms, by 2025 we have a planned shift towards central business configuration for SAP S/4HANA installation. Finally, we would like to emphasize that we value your input and are open to suggestions you can provide to SAP using the influence programs.
SAP portfolio strategy
Looking on SAP's priority, the Cloud ERP portfolio is based on our business technology platform (SAP BTP) and incorporates innovation and sustainability. SAP offers industry-specific solutions, along with essential business portfolios like HR, spend management, and CRM. The two primary Cloud ERP products are 'GROW with SAP', a standardized public offering for organizations that are on a growth trajectory and happy to work with a highly standardized offering, and 'RISE with SAP', a customizable and adaptable solution tailored to fit unique business needs that helps organizations continue to run on their standards.
RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition today
'RISE with SAP' is geared to boost your digital transformation and cloud migration. This private edition offering is tailored to various needs and comes with a single central contract and one Service Level Agreement (SLA). Then, we'll get a sneak peek at the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition and a toolkit for digital transformation, loaded with the necessary infrastructure, security, resources, and migration and adoption services. We'll look at the evolution of SAP S/4HANA since it beginnings in 2015. Lastly, we'll find out about the extended seven-year release strategy and constant innovation promised with SAP S/4HANA.
2023 Highlights Overview
We explore the diverse features of 'RISE with SAP' and their 'Premium Plus Edition', which offers additional capabilities for generative AI, sustainability, advanced suite for The Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) and access to supplier networks. For example, in the area of procurement, we'll delve into how the recent improvements can shape our sustainability efforts and keep track of our carbon footprint. Or, in the area of manufacturing, we'll get to discover the new advanced scheduling board for production orders. Or, in the Cross Topics area, we'll look at how Microsoft Teams integrated with an in-house Collaboration Manager feature boost our teamwork and communication.
Outlook on upcoming innovations
We'll get a sneak peek into what's in the pipeline for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition, including boosting usability, intelligent scenarios leveraging our digital assistant Joule and significant investment in reporting on green data with our carbon accounting innovation . Plus, customers can check out the product roadmap that shows what's next for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition, what new things are coming up, and what their big ideas are for 2025.
