SAP Emarsys Integration with CDC and Commerce Cloud

Hello CX Community,

I have a case, where I would like to integrate CDC with Emarsys and Commerce. I have integrated Emarsys and CDC through the real-time connector. Furthermore, I understand that Emarsys can only handle one external ID, therefore integration with the Commerce plugin will not work. If I need these events from Commerce, is there a workaround? Is it then recommended using the Emarsys API, for instance: https://dev.emarsys.com/docs/core-api-reference/39rrldcc17zoa-create-an-external-event

As far as I know, SAP is aware of this issue, and they are working on it so that Emarsys can be connected to multiple systems to resolve the existing issue of external ID. In the meantime, could you please describe what kind of scenario you are trying to integrate with commerce cloud?

Hi dsaurabh67 , thank you for clarifying. I am only trying to enrich the profiles with events from Commerce (thought I got use the plugin) and then from there create automation programs for campaigns etc.
