Hi Deepali,

Having this kind of resources is great so, first of all, thanks to you and your team for the effort on preparing and sharing all these materials.

Having said this, I am following all the Sales Cloud topics on a daily basis and believe that many of the SAP employees are giving messages which overlap and which generate some confusion to those of us that follow these awesome posts. Mainly, you are sharing the Sales Cloud learning  material but, on the other hand, we get a clear message that Sales Cloud version 2 has arrived (Sept 2022) and that it is something completely new and different. Even more, for those with technical skills, will need to convert themselves in order to become capable of working on a version 2 project.

Based on my previous comments, how useful is to take this training path if SAP has already released version2? Is the content 100% transportable to version 2 product? Or is SAP expecting to have 2 different and separate living Sales Cloud platforms for some years?

Hope you get my query and hope you can give me some clarity over this topic.

Once again, I am thankfull for all the effort that your team does for sharing training content to the community.

Regards.

Alejandro.

Hello Alejandro,

Thank you for your kind words towards our team!

Your question is absolutely valid and thank you for asking!

Yes you are correct, SAP Sales Cloud V2 is released and is the newer, faster and all cloud version of our Sales solution. The V2 version is built on a completely different platform and has a slightly different look and feel. You can think of it as a new product, that is maturing slowly. New features are being built every release to come to feature parity with V1.

That being said, most of our customer base is still on the core SAP Sales Cloud V1 solution and are using it for their day to day business. We still stand by our customers who need enablement in this area.  That's where this course comes in. Knowledge from this V1 course is not directly transferrable to V2. The target audience for this course is the group that is working with the Sales Cloud V1 solution .

Hope this helps. Please reach out for any more questions

Best wishes

Deepali
