reCAP, UI5con, ABAPconf 2024 - Community Run

Beginning of June we'll have the conference triple in Rot. reCAP on 4th, UI5con on 5th and ABAPconf on 6th. As conferences usually involve a lot of sitting and standing inside it is be a good idea to move a bit outside with sun and fresh air before a long day inside. Last year we kicked off reCAP with a small unofficial run right before the conference. As this was fun and would be even more fun we want to repeat this. Many people will join all 3 days and thus we thought we'll offer a single run in the middle of the program right before UI5con. When: June 5th 2024 at 7:30 AM Where: Meeting point is at the entry doors of the Audimax (as seen above). Who: anybody who wants to join. Add yourself to this list if you plan to attend! What: 5 km run with moderate pace. I would assume something between 6:00 min/km and 7:00 min/km but if we are enough people we can do a fast and a normal group. 🙂 As this is a community event you run at your own risk. ☝🏽 ... View more

Where is the "follow user" option in the new Community?

I'm sorry if someone has asked it, or if it's somewhere in neon lights and I've been blind to it, but I cannot find a way to follow people (to have notifications when they publish something new). Is it something related with the banner in the "following" page? Fabric 1.18.2 Server (Java Edition) Using multiple Datapacks, crafting Tweaks and Resources from VanillaTweaks. As well as a custom resource pack. The best Movie Ever!

Hi Everyone, I had an interesting question from my son a few days ago and wanted to share: He asked what do you think is the best movie ever...  My first response was without thinking TheGod Father..The Good the Bad and the Ugly and I think I kind of revealed my age here 🙂 He is a little bit over 18 so he added a twist to the tale and said No: Only after 1995, I started mentioning movies not all after 1995 by the way: Shoshnek Redemption, The Fugitive,  Goodfellas A Few Good Men  An Unfinished Life, and  Pretty Woman So i thought I will ask: what is your favorite movie  And feel free to add categories as well and of course, the date is not that important 🙂 Looking forward to your thoughts Dedi ... Celebrating International Pi Day

Do you like numbers? Mathematics? Are you a lover of formulas? Maybe you are passionate about mathematical constants? If you have an interest in numbers, you'll surely be interested in International Pi Day. Today, Pi is celebrated - the coolest constants. It is one of the first, if not the first constant we learn. With this special constant you can calculate the area of a circle (A = π r²), or perimeter (circumference) using 2πr. Pi itself is derived from the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. The number produced is 3.14 or 22/7, and has been around for about 4000 years. It has captured poets, mathematicians, artists, historians, and with people memorizing and reciting the number of digits for world records, which is currently at 70,000 digits. Pi is also evident in nature, in fact it can be also be calculated from measuring winding rivers. For me Pi is a magical constant. So back to the first question, what are your favorite numbers/formulas/constants? And to throw in an old pun - what is your favorite pie? (mine's apple 😊).
