Having worked with Crystal 8 and classic asp we have moved to server 2008
this has meant we have moved to asp.net and c# and crystal
I downloaded the version 13 and began design, from scratch, no migration just a copy of the old crystal8 but no matter what text won't wrap and database fields won't line up with text
I have page set to landscape and turned on and off printer and format can grow or can't but nothing works
I have tried all the configure options in text - it appears you can center and align right left etc but not vertically.
If you see my design here http://www.buickindustries.co.uk/mgtf/wrap1.htm you can clearly see in top right hand text the text wrapped Bank Of Ireland Business Banking
but in run time the text doesn't wrap it all comes out in the one line http://www.buickindustries.co.uk/mgtf/wrap2.htm
Next to this I would have the text Month with the Month so we would have for example
Month May 2012
what I get is
May 2012
Month
where text appears below
How can I fix this ?
many thanks
Brian
I've tried chating and making it a formula and so putting chr(13) but it then wrpas but with a line feed so I get a blnk line in between.
I also found if I draw a box - add drop shadow, then insert text object in the center of the box I drew, it looks fine in the design, but when I run this the text moves out of the box I drew.
Frustrating in the extreem. I tried can grow, no print, landscape, various different formats and sizes but nothing. To fix the issue on title within a box, unbelieveably I had to create a formula field. This then I put text in, then i added the formula and added borders in the format.
As VS 2010 isn't bundled with CR I downloaded CR for VS 13
I saw there's an upate of 0 4 so downloaded CR for VS 13 0 4 and installed this but again still wrap problems.

I'm having the same issue. A simple text box, and it looks fine in the preview, but it doesn't wrap in the viewer when displayed in a viewer on a .aspx web page. Please reply if you found a fix.
