Workflow with Escalation and latest end

Dear all,

I implemented the following process for my customer. Purchase Release Requisition with 3 steps to be released. 1st Finance need to release the PR, then Plant Manager and at least Site Manager. Now I activated the workflow.

So I used the Standard Workflow WS20000077. In here I wanted to activate the latest end. So in case the Purchase Requisition is not yet approved e.g. by the first Approver we need to determine the Supervisor so he is able to approve it.

To determine the Supervisor I thought I could use the Role 157 -but if I debug it, it seems like he is having the wrong data. We want to use the "escalation" based on Positions see below.

As I'm totally new to Workflow I have absolutly no idea how to solve that issue and how to determine the Supervisor, sent the workflow to him and so on.

Beside that it's important in case the PR is released by the first approver that we need to determine the supervisor of the next approver in case latest end is reached.

I checked the portal, also bought the workflow book but currently I have absolutly no idea.

Is there any step by step documentation how to do it or can somebody explain it please?
