Which software component need to select in SGEN to generate object of MM Module in SAP ECC 6.0 IDES?

Hi Experts,

I am using SAP ECC 6.0 IDES on Virtual Machine.

I want to generate object only which are required for MM module.

I run SGEN tcode

There are multiple options and I choose one of them is "Generated all object of selected software component"

Then there is list of software component.

For Example-EA-Appl, EA-HR and so on..

But I don't want to generate all object please assist which objects need to generate for MM module.

Hi Arti, and welcome to the SAP Community.

The software component for MM for purposes of SGEN generation is SAP_APPL. You'll probably find that you want to pre-compile some other components as well, otherwise you're still going to see a lot of "compiling" on first logins. For instance, SAP_BASIS and SAP_ABA are pretty much used by all the functional areas, as they're the foundation of the system. However, it's not critical -- uncompiled programs will compile the first time they are touched, so the first handful of users may have to exercise some patience, but afterwards all will be well.
