What is purpose of FileStore folder on server

Can we take back of Output folder(under File Store) present on the Business Objects server hosting BusinessObjects4.1sp9

There are two things that are required to define a report or an instance in BOBJ.

1. A record in the CMS Database, which also contains a pointer to...

2. A file in the filestore. The Input folder contains report definition and universe files. The Output folder contains completed instances that are the result of schedules.
