wf_initiator value is overwritten by background job id.

I am triggering a workflow via my user-id. But, it is After creating worktime, User name is showing as My name. But _wf_initiator value is showing as background job id - SAP-WFRT.

Please help me on this.

We really need more detail than that. What workflow? How? Why?

Hi Mrityunjoy,


If the workflow is started by event, the user who starts the event should be saved in _wf_initiator. So in your case I guess the 1st step is a background step and followed by a dialog step. In this case the user who processed the background step will be saved as the initiator.

If my understanding of the scenario is correct, you may try the solution detailed in note 2108489 (Replacing WF-BATCH as work item initiator with user). To implement this solution, the "Properties" tab page of the affected workflow step needs to be configured.
