Webi Report scheduling with reference to another webi report

Hi,

I have an requirement where i need to schedule a webi report with reference to another webi report as input parameter. Is it possible in BO?

I tried with Dynamic recipient but in this we can send only to email Id's, not FTP server or other place.

Please let me know if someone have ever done this kind of scheduling.

how you want to use as input of one report to other? are you saying values from one report to use in dynamic recipient to split the report based on the input values?

if yes then you can do with publication.To use FTP or file access in destination tab have you enabled these in adaptive job server destination property?

Hi Amit,

Yes, We can use another webi report with Dynamic Recipient functionality only. So in this is it possible to send it to FTP without mapping to email address. Because as per dynamic recipient functionality we can use this feature to send report via email for a particular filed.

Please let me know if it is possible and if you have done this.

I did not understand why you can not share the report on FTP if you have used dynamic recipient. Email part is optional in the dynamic recipient.you have to select Recipient Identifier.in the dynamic recipient you have to select the object or specific values for which you want the individual files.Same you have to map in the Personalization section.

I have created many publications to share data on shared area with dynamic recipient.

I am trying with this option. Here i have one more doubt. Here reference report for dynamic recipient needs to save with data or schedule automatically will pic new data from reference report.

Or we can have schedule for reference report so that it will always pic latest refreshed data?

if your requirement is report to pick the latest data from first report then purge the first report data and save with option "document refresh on open".After that publication always pick the latest data from the first report.
