I have total 33 columns in my Webdynpro ALV table. Initially only 8 are visible and user can add/remove the columns he wants to see. I want to send a mail with the excel as attachment on click of a button. When I try to read the ALV table node, I am getting values for all 33 columns but I want data for only the columns which are visible. The button export to excel in the ALV functions row is working as I want but the same I want to call under my custom button and send the excel as an attachment.
How can I achieve this requirement? How do I get data/rows only for the visible columns?
Also when we click on export to excel button, data is coming under sheet 1 and 2 blanks sheets are also coming in the workbook. Not sure how to correct this as well.
Please let me know if any more information is required.
