I am encountering the following issue.
We have several users who have left the company, but due to a lack of consistency from the business side of things, were note removed from the CoA.
Due to that, we now have several workflows where these now inactive users are supposed to validate invoices.
In standard SAP workflows, this is not really an issue as simply forwarding them to another user, or executing them as an administrator cuts the issue short.
In this case, however, I have the error message "User yyyyy cannot be mapped" when I try to validate the workflow, even as an administrator.
The external consultants who put VIM in place were less than helpful towards resolving this issue.
Is there a standard, 100% foolproof procedure to ensure that the user who is supposed to replace the inactive user can simply pick up the workflows and validate them effortlessly? I tried adding them to table hrus_d2, to no avail.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
